Abstract:
The actual global environment is strongly influenced by innovative evolutions of information and communication technology. In this context, it became more imperative that the organizations to be focused on adding value to different data and information elements gathered from their beginning to current days. Therefore organizations continuously need to increase their business intelligence by monitoring systems that analyze information and develop indicators. This paper discusses various types of global organization and departments within a global organization, concepts and characteristics of decision support methods followed by the investigation and identification of organizational data and decisions that make up the global organization. The paper concludes with a proposed model for making decisions in a global organization.
