Abstract:
The paper presents the role of Business Intelligence (BI) as a strategic asset in any successful organization. It also emphasizes the business value of BI. After a short presentation of the state-of-the-art of the current available BI solutions, the paper focuses on Microsoft BI suite of products. The authors present their experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV Business Analytics (BA) both for enterprise management and for corporate management. The conclusion is that BI represents one of the most efficient, effective and easy-to-use solutions to improve information management and to grow the overall performance of an organization.
