Abstract:
There are four main esential characteristics of strategic decisioning, regarding their operationality and the decisioning process and their consequences to the organisation. Strategic decisions are made under conditions of undertainty of the business environment. Strategic decisions have a global character, as they involve the entire organisation. Strategic decisions are intrinsis complex due to the multitude of factors that need evaluating. Finally, strategic decisions often have radical consequences to the life of the company.
