Abstract:
Today, when the information became an extremely important resource, the way of receiving, analysing and sending it is the major element for a good evolution of activities of a company. But, risks can arrise in various stages, risks that must be analyzed and solutions must be found for the minimization of negative effects and the maximization of the positive ones. Risk management is a continuous process, integrated in the structure and culture of a company. Because the processes of software creation/acquisition and development are very important and complex for every company, it is necessary to use a holistic vision of software risk management, based on three main dimensions: temporal, methodological and human. A complete taxonomy of risks offers the possibility to identify and measure elements for software development risk, using a hierarchical structure. The paper develops these main aspects to analyze risk software and the direction to implement it in a company.
