This article regards the evolution of gross domestic product in the period 1990 – 2000 and the influences of activity sectors on this indicator. Also în the second part of the article are estimated the values of gross domestic product for the period 2001 - 2007.
For calculating the GDP, it is taken into consideration only the final assets and services, and not the intermediary consumption. In this way it is searched to avoid GDP overevaluation by the ommission of including a product or service two or several times.
