Abstract:
In a short time, Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP) met a spectacular growth from a simple scripting language for creating dynamic web pages to one powerful and easy to use web application development. ASP.NET Web Matrix is a community-supported, easy-to-use WYSIWYG application development tool for ASP.NET. It can be installed via a quick 1.3 MB download FROM Microsoft. New features include: Access database support, J# support, design time enhancements including improved table editing and user-control rendering, many bug fixes, and much more. One of the fundamental goals with the Web Matrix project has been to directly connect and communicate with the developer community.
The current paper presents Microsoft ASP .NET Matrix, a totally free tool that helps developing web applications using ASP.NET.
