Abstract:
This study presents the challenges encountered at AL. I. Cuza University of Iasi, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in implementing a learning system. Although the Blackboard Learning System has been bought in 2007 and the initial planning was to use it in fall 2007, now (spring 2008) the system is still not implemented and the new planning for production use is fall 2008. We present in this article an objective view on the project status, describing the milestones of the implementation process, the teaching methodologies affected by the new technologies, emphasizing from this experience what challenges may be encountered by other institutions with similar projects.
