Abstract:
Knowledge Management System is a tool for managing knowledge in companies aimed at acquiring business knowledge, expertise and best practices throughout their entire existence. The scope of this study is to develop a knowledge management system based on REX method (Retour d'Experiences) identified as the adequate method for management of explicit knowledge in financial-accounting domain, using the features of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. The proposed solution is a knowledge management portal which will integrate information, collaboration, processes, expertise and will generate useable reports of individual and aggregate data, will combine multiple forms into one online system, will promote standardized data-collection methodology, and will facilitate timely feedback and approval.
