Abstract:  
This paper explores the idea of globalization in economy in general and its application on the discipline which is responsible for the accounting information system and its role in that process in order to develop new directions for the accounting concepts. That’s why in this paper we are looking for future, not necessary for the present. Adopting futuristic view, the team will try to identify the next steps into global economy and society and, based on this, the next steps which the accounting will have to supply to fulfill the accounting order. We inquiry main concepts of accounting as: the historical cost or fair value, the accruals or cash accounting etc.; and we will try to answer at questions like: they will be replaced? The perception will be different? The new solutions as generalization of fair value in balance sheet will be embraced by the public? Historic costs will survive? The paper further lays aut a number of point’s attendant with a ‘global economic redesign’, again with the aim of expanding the globalization and accounting research agenda introducing in this context the harmonization process in accounting which expand the first option solutions. The paper is emphasizing the role of the cultural differences in the process of imposing of a general accounting system by the global organizations.
